The NHS contract only covers work within the NHS thus any work outside of this contract may be charged for as the surgery is not paid by the NHS to carry out these services.

These fees are payable upon collection of form, certificate or letter or when a medical is carried out.  Please note we are not able to offer credit as we do not have a Consumer Credit Licence.

* £120.00 is the rate which the patient’s company pays when paying direct or when the patient can claim it back on expenses.  33% discount will be given if the patient is ultimately paying for themselves i.e the cost will be reduced to £80.00

Chagford Health Centre has now been running the nail cutting service for a while now  and it is proving very successful, the service is available on the 1st and 2nd Wednesdays of the month. This service is offered to all patients who cannot manage to cut their own nails except patients who suffer with diabetes and/or some other medical problems such as surgery to arteries in legs or feet, intermittent claudication/severe poor circulation, painful corns, callus, severely thickened or deformed toe nails, severe foot/toe deformities, recurrent foot infection requiring antibiotic therapy.  

Please note that she has been trained to cut toe and finger nails ONLY  - She is not a Chiropodist.

If you are not a patient of Chagford Health Centre you will be asked to provide details of all the medicines you regularly take by bringing a copy of your current prescription list to your first appointment.
