111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.
From 1st October 2022, Improved Access changes to Enhanced Access enabling patients of North Dartmoor Primary Care Network to make routine appointments at a GP practice during evenings and at weekends to see a Health Professional between the hours of 6.30pm to 8.00pm Mondays to Fridays and 9.00am – 5.00pm on Saturdays, introducing a more multidisciplinary offer means patients can access a broader set of services including screening and vaccination.

See below for the participating practices offering this service within our PCN.

Participating Practices

This scheme is an extension of the usual GP practice services, not a walk-in service, patients still need to make an appointment if they wish to see a GP in the evening or at the weekend. Practices are working together to establish a service that meets the needs of the public.

If you are a patient registered at one of the practices listed below you will be able to book a routine evening or weekend appointment with the participating practices on the timetable. Appointments should be booked with the participating practice.
